Adventure of Ray and Hawk

"Alrighty! Don't wor- GET DOWN!" Out of nowhere gunshots were fire towards Ray. Ray quickly dodged out of the way and tried to sense where the bullet was shot from. Another one fired and he could sense the heat difference in the air. He jumped through the trees and something hit him in the stomach.



Ray managed to harden his stomach with ice and slice the creature with his blade. The creature had some sort of blade aw well and Ray locked blades with his opponent. About 5 others came out of the trees. "Hawk, watch out man!"

"i c them" Hawk yelled back. "u ready for a battle? cause this is teh type of battle i got in mind "
Hawk then pulls out both of his swords and attacks the creature Ray is locked with by cutting his neck and killing him. he hollers to Ray "man how we gonna take them all. they got swords and guns"
"ok i say go for the necks of the ones that look like less of assholes and save those weirder ones for last, lets go."
Hawk jumps through 2 of them but they place their blades up quickly to deflect his blow. he then starts to lock swords w/ both of them and is able to keep hold because of his strenght. he then takes out one of the 2 he is working on and then takes both swords at the other 1 seriously wounding him.
"Ray watch out for the bursts of bullets that will come thro" Hawk yells as he rolls out of the way and one of the creatures are killed by the bullets intended for Hawk.
"Ray how u doin over there?"

As soon as Ray was free from the creature Hawk killed he dove forward and samursaulted. He jumped up with his hands and drop kicked one of the creatures. Knocking it down he sliced its neck with his sword. "Not bad, 3 down 2 more to go." The last two were hidden among the trees....

"ok, now b careful cause they have the element of surprise and advanced weapontry, or so they think"
Hawk and Ray then c a little movement in 2 bushes off 2 the right of them, so Hawk whispers, "ok i will travel a little ways down the road and come up behind them, u stay here and continue to 'search' for them and make it look like u havnt found them. i will scare them into the open then we can take them out"
Hawk looks at Ray and asks him what he thinks of the plan, Ray answers him sayin.........

"Okay, sounds good" Ray steps a little towards the bushes. He squints at the spot and the walks around pretending to look around. i hope they don't attack while im keeping this up.....Make it fast Hawk

Hawk then hurries ahead about a quarter of a mile and then trails around 2 the right and sneeks up behind the creatures. he draws both swords and charges at them full force knowing Ray has heard the noise and will attack from the other side

They both have weapons drawn ready 2 attack each 1 taking out 1 creature

Hawk immediatly locks swords with 1 of the creatures and is able 2 push it back a little and get a decent wound on the creature, he then is able 2 finish him off with a couple cuts to the neck after about 5 mins of battle. they are very strong creatures

Hawk notices Ray......

sensing Hawk make his move Ray got up and managed to take the last creature by surprise. It was running away from Hawk towards him: easy kill.

"That's all of them" Ray said as he sensed the air around him. He could only sense about a 20 meter radius, but he has been training it to be able to maintain that radius for long periods of time.

"Let's keep goi-GAH!"Ray fell down a giant ditch that slid into what seemed to be a crashlanding site. There in the middle of the giant ditch was an odd vehicle that had wings and cannons attatched to the sides.

Recovering from his heavy fall Ray looked up and could see where the trees surrounded the ditch. The ditch was a large one. Almost like half a soccer field. The vehicle took half of the ditch.

"What is that thing?" Ray said as Hawk jumped down besides him.

"some kind of ship, i am not able to recognize it completely but my guess would be that is where those creatures came from which means that they were simply protecting thier 'territory'. want 2 check it out?" Hawk asks as he heads toward the ship not waitin 4 a reply from Ray,
"Maybe there is some useful stuff in there, i mean it looks like it is from the future."

Hawk then heads into the ship to find an elderly man sittin in front of a holographic key pad punching in many types of symbol combinations. Hawk walks up to the man who quickly draws a sword....

Hawk draws his sword in time to block the blow comin at him from the man Hawk thinks to himself damn he sure has a lot of strength for being and elderly man, there is only one place i can think of where they would be this strong this long

Hawk then introduces himself, "I am Mike Hawk from the League of Jedi, i was banned many years ago for the hateful revenge i wanted to revoke on my family's killer but i mean u no harm"

the man gets a glint in his eye and eases his sword back into its sheath as does Hawk, the man introduces himself as the man from the same land but not of Jedi, he has created creatures to protect him and wonders what has become of them, Hawk answers him sayin that he and his friend has killed them all because they were caught in a surprise attack by them. this is when Hawk introduces Ray to the man.

the man, realizing finally who Hawk was, walks over to a glass case and pulls out a jar filled with some mysterical liquid, he then tells Hawk

"I know that the masters of the Jedi told u that they had taken away your power over the force, but that is impossible, all they simple did was drug u with a potion to supress the powers, if u wish to have hte powers back drink this mixture; if u dont trust me then dont."

the man said this and set the liquid on the table infront of Hawk and walked back to his keypad

Hawk thought to himself if i drink this potion and it gives me my control over the force back then i would be even greater but it could also be a potion to kill me, this man could be my family's killer

Hawk whispers to Ray what he thinks he should do but is already reaching for the liquid to drink it, he figures Ray will stop him if he deems it a bad idea.

"Wait! Hawk....this guy said he created creatures to protect him? How do we know if he's protecting himself even now? Let me smell the potion, as an elf i've come across may poisons and know." That'z a lie....i hate studying herbology.... Sniffing the potion...it was something he never smelt before, something....alien and completely different. Idk....well if he does die i bought several antidotes and phoenix downs
"go ahead and try it, But old man! If he dies or if anything happens to him, u can be sure never to leave this place!" Ray nods to hawk as a go ahead.

Hawk gulps down the potion and suddenly feels a slight difference in the world around him, he closes his eyes and relaxes his body like he was taught to do when first learning the force, he was able to reach out and sense around him a few minutes later and then afer 4 or 5 mins he looked at the glass jar that was now empty and focused on it trying to lift it up, within a few second the jar began to levetate about 4 feet above the table and Hawk was very greatful of the old man as he set the jar back down.

He went over and asked then man if there was anything he could do in return since he now owed him. the old man asked of him one favor... to go and start hte engine by hand which would require Hawk to turn a crank with great force

Hawk figuring he was strong enough to do it went to the engine room and tried to move the crank but only suceeded in moving it a few inches so he had ray help him but they still could not move it. so Hawk decided it was time to test his true power of the force again after almost 30 yrs. Hawk concentrated on movin the crank and eventually was able to move it completely and continued to cause it to gain speed and within a few mins had hte engine sputtering and then finally it started and the man was thankful

the man escorted them back out and as Hawk and Ray walked out he threw a little brown coin bag out in front of them and then blasted away b4 either of them were able to throw it back. Hawk looked at Ray 2 c it he had any ideas of wat 2 do the the money they had just recieved.

"Um...hawk....Let's just save it for now....We need to RUN!!! I can sense more of those creatures! They're after us and there's a LOT of them coming this way!!"

"o well in that case........ RUN!!!!!!!!, HAHAHAHA" Hawk leaps high into the air using hte force to propel him even higher and then lands and takes off running in a dead sprint and puts a burst of force to propel him every so often.....

Hawk loves the feelin of hte force again and the power it brings 2 him. he feels like himself again and doesnt hate everyone in the world for the moment.

man i want 2 hang back there and fight a couple of those creatures 2 c wat it is like 2 battle w/ the force again Hawk thinks 2 himself but says nothin 2 ray

Seeing Hawk propel himself with the force so fast made Ray a bit envious. How am i supposed to be a speedy attacker when i can't even keep up with him?Dang... As Hawk got farther away Ray jumped along the side of the ditch and eventually landed out of it. He could see the space pirates (what the old man called them) coming around the ditch....and some of the space pirates had jetpacks! They could fly over the ditch.

Let's see how many i can kill in 1min Setting his maroon watch he threw icicles into one of the space pirates jetpacks. He lost control and crashed into another space pirate. Ray then used his chain/rapier and grapphled onto a tree. Pulling on the chain he propelled forward, whirling the other end of the chain like a helicoptor. The other end of the chain had the other rapier which sliced through everything including trees. Ray landed on the tree he propelled towards and kicked back off of it. He landed back to his original spot.

"Not bad, i killed about 7 in 1min. But it needs work." Sheating his blades and wrapping up his chain he ran back torwards Hawk. Up ahead he could see a clearing in the trees. Night was almost upon them.

Hawk seein that Ray was havin a little trouble keepin up slowed down to a normal pace to let him catch up

when he saw Ray start attackin the space pirates he figured Ray wanted 2 so he just stood there figurin if Ray needed him he could get back there to help very easily, when Hawk say Ray destroy 70% of them he was impressed

when Ray caught back up with Hawk he apologized for leavin him behind a little, he forgot how powerful the force was in propellin him, he would use it w/ precautions now, and then "nice job takin out those space pirates back there" Hawk says as they start runnin again

"Thanks....you can go as fast as you want though. I'll try to keep up." They arrived at the clearing and they saw a very large field. It was fenced off to keep people away but it didn't stop a bear that was in the middle of the field. Ray jumped over the fence and motioned to Hawk. He sprinted torwards the bear and cut it straight through it's stomach. The bear was cut in half. And Ray mouthed one word to Hawk, "Dinner" As soon as they said that a light came on behind Ray. And rifle was shot. "GAH!!!" Ray was bleeding in the back of his head when the old man noticed the dead bear.

"Hey you! Did you kill that bear!?"
Ray staggered a bit and then raised up a finger, "Um, yea!"

"THANK YER' THANK YER'!!! PLEASE COME IN AND HAVE A, SITTIN'!"

Hawk goes over to Ray to help support him and as they all walk back to the farm he asks the farmer y he had shot at them and had he had the bears attackin his farm for very long

the farmer replied, "they have been attackin for almost 3 months now, there are only about 3 left. HEY! u just killed that bear like it was nothin, if i tend 2 ur wound, would u b willin 2 kill those last 3 for me, of course their will b a reward for u 2"

Hawk looks at Ray and answers for them, "yes we would b glad 2, and thanks for tending 2 his wound,"

After a half an hour of stitching up and getting ready Hawk and Ray walked outside.

"Note to self: Don't trespass..... Anyways, how do u think we should bait these bears out of hiding?" Ray asked as he walked down the fields with his hands behind his head.

Hawk says to Ray, "well i wil force a couple of them out with the force, it can b very helpful"

so Hawk walks into the forest next 2 Ray and finds one of the bears and forces it 2 come towards them when he came closer Hawk drew his sword and cut off its leg, causing it 2 suffer 4 a while b4 he put it out of its missery w/ a quick stab 2 the heart.

Hawk then find one other and forces it out allowing Ray 2 take that one down

With a quick jump into the air Ray unsheathed his rapiers and spun around. Landing on the ground and re-sheathing his blades. "One more to go....."

"ok well i cant find the last 1 so we will have 2 find anothr way 2 bait it into our range of senses"

" u got any ideas?"

"Yeah, let's go back to that creek we were following earlier. It might have some fish that we can season up."

They went back to the fence and went through the trees. It wasn't long before they found that the creek actually went beside the property line of the farmer. Ray kneeled next to the water and put his hand in. Then he released some energy through his hand which froze the water. A few fish that swam nearby and were frozen solid. He broke through the ice and then got the fish. Then he took them and started a fire with some flint. Creating a spark and keeping it ablaze they thawed out the fish. Then Ray took out some salt he carried with him and sprinkled it onto the fish. The aroma of the fish was very tasty. Ray could sense another heat scource nearby....

"Looks like we have a visitor" It was the bear

"nice work" Hawk says as he reaches out w/ the force to take the bear by force,

"i got this one" he says as he raises it very high in the air, "o i would back up and find some cover if i were u" he says as he drops the bear a good 300-400 feet back to the ground, runnin for cover from the blood splatter that will happen when the bear hits the ground,

a couple seconds later they hear a hard pounding sound and feel the tremble in the ground. the bear was dead so they headed back to the farmer 2 claim their rewards and continue on hteir journey

We headed back to the farmers place and he was standing in the doorway. Leaning on the his side he asked us "Well, did ya git em'?"

"Yup," Ray answered.

"WHY I'LL BE!! THANK YA SO MUCH!!Please! Please! Stay for the night! I'll cookin' us up some stew and u can have a nice bed! You travellors look like u could use a rest!Tommorow u can git up and git a move on if u'd like. Or help me with tendin' the fields!" He comes behind us and pushes us inside. Ray tries to protest but the man persists. He sets them down at a table and pushes stew in front of their faces. It smells so good that they can't resist. Afterwards the man shows Ray and Hawk to 2 seperate guest rooms that he keeps for guests. They both doze off.

Waking up to the wonderful smell of eggs and sausage, Ray meets Hawk downstairs.
"Mornin', u guys slept in quite a bit!ya did! Here i got some grub for yer stomachs! Eat up." Once again he provides Ray and Hawk with great hospitality. Before Ray and Hawk leave the man brings us over a few things.
"Here take these: Sickle (1), Large Water bottle (1), Leather Knive Case with brand (1), Knive (1), 40exp, 40gold. Divide these amongst yourselves and be careful going south from here. It's odd....but strong winds sometimes pass through here. I've never ventured from my home because it's dangerous. There's some powerful beasts down south.....Btw did u guys come from Marotropolis?"

"Yes...we did" Ray said as he thanked the man and packed up the stuff. "It's about 300 meters north of here. Not too far. About a day's journey."

"Hmmm...i think i shall visit someday" The farmer said. They thanked the farmer and were out the door.

after Hawk finishes his food and heads out they split the things amounst themselve, Hawk takes the knife and leather case, giving Ray the sickle and large water bottle.

they start off heading south continuin on their original path they started out on. Hawk looks over at ray and starts up some small talk

"how u feelin after that shot yesterday? did u sleep well?"
